The first one, quite simply because it was a legend in its time. Google Earth has captured approximately 98% of the globe and there's an estimated 10 million miles of Street View photos to help you explore.A lot like all the other Dark Souls-like games there are nowadays. And if the earth seems fairly limited, an update to the mobile version of Google Earth from earlier this year lets you pull back to 30,000 miles above the earth to see some of the surrounding stars. It's a great way to explore without leaving home. Voyager allows you to get more out of Google Earth by taking you on guided tours of points of interest as well as other countries and cultures. ![]() ![]() Perhaps they’re just a dastardly bunch, but I want to know! I’ve always loved games that let you see things from the villain’s perspective.Īre they a victim of circumstance? Do they think what they’re doing is for the best? Other than that, this ROM hack shines for its inclusion of assorted Pokémon from the first six generations and a fantastic soundtrack. Well Pokémon Gaia is all about uncovering the ancient secrets of the Orbtus Region, littered with ruins, religious idols, and tales of a bygone golden age. Our world is full of crazy stories, so imagine the lore behind Pokémon’s world! My favorite part of every Pokémon game is often exploring ancient ruins, or learning about the Pokémon World’s rich history. But different enough to keep you engaged. It includes Pokémon from gens 4-7, and replaces Gyms with Battle Arenas, which are more or less the same. These are all critical components of the game’s complex and dramatic storyline. ![]() You’ll adventure through the massive Cyenn Region, but also visit smaller areas like Western Tyron, Sevii Island, and the Lande Region. If you’re into well-developed storylines that are borderline pretentious, consider Pokémon Nameless Edition: a FireRed ROM hack with an open-world feel. ![]() Sound fun? Give this a go! It’ll keep you busy for days. The story revolves around the Pokémon World and the “real” world being on a collision course.Īs a newbie Pokémon trainer, you’ll have to catch and train assorted critters from the Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos to make your dream party and stop this impending disaster. Pokémon GlazedĪnother full makeover for Pokémon’s gen III that’s considerably more family-friendly comes in the form of Pokémon Glazed, a hack with an entirely new storyline focused on the regions of Tunod, Johto and the mysterious Rankor. Just be advised, much like the 4chan imageboard, this hack is full of politically incorrect and downright offensive ‘mons. It’s actually a bit of a collaborative effort from frequent users of the /vp/ board, who have contributed independently in creating each of the 386 original Fakemon. ![]() This FireRed ROM hack is based on inside jokes and the overall culture of the infamous imageboard 4chan (especially the /vp/ Pokémon board). It’s so big that it even has its own project website. This hack is a completely new game with barely any traces of the original. Pokémon Cloverįor those of you who don’t mind Fakemon and campy storytelling, I recommend Pokémon Clover. One of the game’s most exciting features is the addition of daily quests and monthly rewards similar to what you’d see in a mobile game, which is appropriate considering most people play these hacks on their phones. There’s a Physical/Special split, fairy types, and even Mega Evolutions! Not only does it include Pokémon from all generations, but it updates the battle system to reflect modern settings better. Pokémon UnboundĮasily the most ambitious ROM hack for gen III has to be Pokémon Unbound, which tries to give the classic critter-raising RPG a sort of MMO-like gameplay by making it open-world and heavily customizable. And the post-game has been beefed up considerably too. On the flip side, all Pokémon from gen III can be caught in this version of the game. Puzzles throughout the Hoenn region are harder now, and you’ll need to change bikes much more often. Not only has trainer AI been tweaked to put up a tougher fight, but their placement among the game’s many routes is also more treacherous. Pokémon Kaizo Emerald, like other ROM hacks in the genre, focuses on bringing players a more challenging version of the base game. If it exists, there’s an ultra-hard Kaizo hack for it. If you’re up to the challenge, here are the absolute best hacks for Pokémon’s GBA era of games. Playing through these custom games is a great way to re-live past adventures from a new perspective, or carve your way through entirely new landscapes. Some even call it the peak of the franchise.įor this very reason, it’s probably the generation with the most ROM hacks. But the third slew of games remain some of the most beloved by the Pokémon community. It’s been almost 20 years since we first got a chance to explore the Hoenn region and catch ‘em all in Pokémon Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald. ![]() ![]() I checked start up programs and turned off Zwift launcher. This made no difference and also did not affect Zwift in any way ![]() I do have another query re TDA workouts which I'll post on the correct page. Thanks for your efforts but I've taken up too much of your time with this issue. I bought a separate cadence sensor because the NEO internal cadence calculation is rubbish !!! I now have a dual mode HR sensor, but I'm annoyed I can't use my Ant + Garmin cadence sensor with TDA. My NEO then had both the Blue and Green led's light at the same time. I then opened Zwift (TDA & Zwift open at the same time) which connected with Ant + I even did a test where TDA connected on BT. No matter where I plug the BT dongle TDA sees it, so TDA sees all my usb ports.TDA does see my ant+ dongle I unplug Tacx Ant + stick and replace wth BT dongle.straight away the BT icon in TDA is lit again. clutching at straws because ant+ is fine on Zwift & Bkool. It's as though the Tacx ant dongle is dead. Thanks for you efforts with this problem. In 2010 i bought my 1st indoor trainer,a Flow but sent it back and decided to go for the higher spec Legacy Bashido.I also got TTS3 and my first 3 RLVs.The first 3 weeks the green start box was shaded and the Ant+was not connecting. This was also my first CPU.Anyway to cut a long story shortTacx Support in the UK took control of my Lap Top and found a Garmin Agent was starting up and this was causing the ANT+ to not work with TTS.I terminated the Garmin Agent and ANT+ was now working.10 years later TTS has/still is working great with no issues. So, I would take a look at W10 startup and see what programs are automatically start every time you boot up. Agent had to be terminated in order for other ANT+ programs to work. Garmin Agent (now discontinued) was notorious for this. One thing I would look for is some kind of resident program or stub, like Garmin Agent, that is taking control of your ANT+ device. There is definitely something weird going. Running msconfig.exe and selecting Services can also give you some information. You can also open Task Manager and click the Startup Tab. Have you checked W10 startup? Go to Settings - Apps - Startup. I see that Zwift has a Zwiftlauncher that some folks say runs as a W10 startup item. If it is a TDA issue, it certainly is not widespread and may be the result of some unusual circumstances. I'm probably going to ask Tacx to take control of my pc and take a look.Cheers Steve I just choose how the devices are controlled This is definitely a TDA issue. On those programs ant+ and bluetooth icons show. Zwift and Bkool are also on this Win 10 drive. I still don't understand that when I close TDA and open Zwift or Bkool ant + is fine. My pc is now dual boot with Win 7 and Win 10 on seperate hd's. Did this because I was on Win 7 and wanted to try TDA This is a clean install of Win 10 onto a new ssd. Here are a couple of screenshots illustrating the problem: In corresponding with both Garmin and Wahoo, they recommended using these sensors in ANT+ mode only, which seems to work. I think it has something to do with the dual channel chip. ![]() I believe they have a dual-channel BT chip, but unfortunately the data signal alternates from on and off. I will give a caution on the newer magnet-free cadence-only sensors from both Garmin and Wahoo. So, from my standpoint, this part of TDA is working quite well. I tried tons of different devices and they were all detected, including a Neo2T, Flux 2 Smart, dual BT/ANT+ HRM, Wahoo Blue SC ANT+ only speed/cadence combo, and 2 newer dual BT/ANT+ cadence-only sensors from Garmin and Wahoo (the magnet-free type that attaches to the crank arm). I am also using the Tacx antenna with a heavy base. ANT+ was always active (never grayed out) and it detected all ANT+ devices without any issue. So, i went down to my exercise room and tried this version with both dual BT and ANT+ and ANT+ alone. Open TDA and click "About" on the opening page. ![]() |
